Prostate Cancer Pre-Surgical Education Session

Learn what to expect before, during and after surgery, including:

• Possible side effects and care instructions
• The admissions process at St. John's Hospital
• Nutrition to improve your health, one bite at a time
• Kegel exercises to manage temporary incontinence
• Resources such as living will information
• Classes and educational materials

You are encouraged to bring a guest with you. All men in attendance will receive a free prostate cancer toolbox with materials to help prepare for surgery, recovery and beyond.

Prostate Cancer Support Group

This is no ordinary boys' night out. Come for good information and great company with other men who've experienced prostate cancer. Most meetings begin with a health care speaker, followed by a support group discussion.

The group meets the 4th Tuesday of each month.
