CaringBridge is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, offering free web pages to those receiving care since 1997. It was started after an unbelievable reaction to a Web page created for a premature baby.

CaringBridge has grown steadily since 1997 and as of mid-2007, it has hosted more than 66,000 CaringBridge websites and had nearly 425 million visits and 10 million guestbook messages of hope and encouragement.
