Scott L. North, CEO

Scott has been employed with HealthEast since 1991. He served as associate administrator for both
St. Joseph's and St. John's hospitals and was responsible for various clinical, outpatient and support services. Scott was named VP/CEO for St. John's Hospital in June 2002.

Scott has been in the healthcare business profession since 1979.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration; Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio
• Masters in Business Administration; Ashland College (now Ashland University), Ashland, Ohio

Tom Lundsten, MD, Medical Director

Dr. Lundsten has been the medical director at St. John's since March 2000. In addition, he treats patients in his private practice.

• Bachelor of Science in Biology; University of Minnesota - Duluth
• Residency at St. John's Hospital, through the University of Minnesota Family Practice Residency Program
• University of Minnesota Medical School

Deb Hurd, Associate Administrator

Deb joined HealthEast in 1984 and held positions as administrative nursing supervisor at Midway and Bethesda hospitals. In 1998 Deb became the director of patient care services at St. John's. Deb was named to her current position, associate administrator for nursing services, in March 2002.

Laura Keithahn, Associate Administrator

Laura has been with HealthEast since June 1980. She has been associate administrator at St. John's since March 2002.

Laura's HealthEast experience includes:

• Nine years as system director of radiology for St. John's, St. Joseph's, Bethesda and Midway hospitals
• Two years at Midway Hospital as director of radiology
• Two years at St. Joseph's Hospital as radiology manager
• Three years at Divine Redeemer as director of radiology
• Six years at Divine Redeemer as a technologist in nuclear medicine, CT, radiology and special procedures.

Education:

• Registered Technologist in Radiology from Finley Hospital, Dubuque, Iowa
• Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine from Veterans Administration Hospital in Minneapolis
• Bachelor of Science in Management; Cardinal Stritch College, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
• Masters in Business Administration; University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis
